The Church of the Nazarene has no greater mission than reaching those who do not yet know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and then helping them become Christ-like disciples.

International Missions focuses on four areas.  These include Prayer, Discipling, Education, and Giving.

Prayer: Interceding for leaders and churches and for the Holy Spirit to draw ALL people  to Christ the Savior.

Discipling: Mentoring and involving all people, including youth and children, to make Christlike disciples in the nations.

Education: NMI is committed to helping local churches tell their mission story. We provide resources and support for the local church as it informs and educates its members, not only in what other Nazarenes are doing in missions, but also how they can get involved in the Great Commission.

Giving: Just as early believers “pooled their resources so that each person’s need was met,” (Acts 2: 45) Believers today eagerly share what they have to bring new members into God’s family. In 155 world areas, Nazarenes’ passion for mission compels them to give in all kinds of ways: volunteer time and talents, praying for Peace, Courage and Strength of our persecuted brethren, generously sharing our resources – talents,  time, and monetary, and passing on the happenings at other Nazarene churches.

The LINKS program of the Church of the Nazarene is a network of personal connections between missionaries and Nazarenes around the world. Missionaries are assigned to districts and, then on the district level, connected to local churches. This gives each church an opportunity to become personally acquainted with the missionary family and their field of service. Typically, churches send packages, cash gifts, cards, and other remembrances to their LINKS missionaries.

Our LINKS missionaries for 2014-2015 are Brian and Julie Woolery, currently serving in Okinawa, Japan. Their profile can be viewed by clicking here. You can also get more current updates at their blog at http://woolerywanderings.blogspot.com/. Finally, they have a FaceBook page at https://www.facebook.com/Woolery.family.
