Still have no plans for tonight?

Looking for some way to celebrate with your family?

We invite you to join us for our annual New Year’s Eve party.  This is casual, clean, family fun.

Tonight we will be celebrating the end of the year with a potluck meal at 5:30. As our guests you may bring a side dish or dessert if you like, but there is no obligation.  After dinner we are gathering in the sanctuary for a time of Praise.  Individuals who have volunteered will be sharing music, writings, readings and/or testimonies about God and His blessings.  After communion we’ll return to the fellowship hall for family games till we can’t play any longer!

Its always fun.  Its always surprising.  Its always a great way to make new friends and renew old friendships.

We look forward to seeing you at 5:30……… or a bit later if you’d rather eat before you come.  Leave whenever you or your kids are tired.

To believe means…

According to Webster’s dictionary, to believe means to have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although without absolute proof that one is right in doing so; to be fully persuaded or convinced. Mary believed Gabriel. Joseph believed the angel. The shepherds believed the angels. The wise men believed they should follow the star. All of these people took God into account.
What are we missing because we are not fully persuaded?
He has agreed to do miraculous things for us and in us when we passionately believe.
Join us Sunday to find out what God has planned when we truly believe with our hearts and not just our heads.

Wishing each and every one of you a very merry Christmas! We pray that you enjoy the day, remembering what we celebrate during this season.

Emmanuel, God With Us, was born to ordinary people in an ordinary town.  But the story is really EXTRAordinary.  Jesus came to us to bring us back into right relationship with God.

May His Light fill your homes and lives this Christmas and every day to come.

We don’t want you to miss out on anything!  So here’s our upcoming schedule:

Join us for these times of celebration!  It’s the most joyous season and we want to share it with you.

Come and sing with us! We’ll be warming up afterwards with cider, hot cocoa and cookies.  Please be at the church by 6:15 pm.

Jesus said, “Follow Me.” (Matt. 5:19; Mark 1:17; John 1:43)

He said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life!” (John 14:6)

Jesus also said, “Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations,” (Matt. 28:19)

Cove Ministerial Alliance sponsers a yearly service of Thanksgiving.  EVERYONE is welcome. All denominations, all believers and all non-believers are encouraged to participate in this yearly get-together!

Bring your friends.  Meet new people.  Celebrate all that we have to be thankful for in this great nation.  Feel the joy the Lord pours out when we worship Him in unity!  Find out how God is working in our community through a variety of churches.

This year we will be celebrating at Cove Nazarene!  Come at 6 this evening for a time for worship and fellowship that is unique to our area.  Several churches will be represented, 3 speakers will share the presentation of the Word and there will be a fellowship time afterwards in the fellowship hall of the Worship Center.

How do you PLANT a church?

Today at 10:55 am, Reverend Jake Isbell will be our guest speaker.  He is “planting” a  church in Jarrell, TX.  Join us and find out what this means!  I’m pretty sure it doesn’t mean “dig a hole and drop a building in.”  It’s a fascinating process that takes time, effort and most of all love for the Lord & letting Him lead.  Learn how you can help others come to the Lord.

Don’t forget we are serving breakfast at 9:30 for $2.00.  This is real, family-style food….. not donuts and coffee.

Beginning at 9:30 this morning (Dec. 2, 2018) adult Sunday School make its much anticipated return.  We will be meeting in the adult classroom in the Education Building. (Come a bit early if you are new and need directions, please)

A couple of things to take note of are:

  1. At this time, we are ONLY offering Adult Sunday School.  Children’s discipleship time will continue to be on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
  2. There is NO childcare available for this service time.  Childcare begins at 10:30 for the morning worship service at 10:55.

While we realize that #2 may be a concern to some, please keep in mind that we are going through a time of change.  If you are unable to attend because of this, please speak with Pastor Ann, Pastor Patrick or Anne Frazer.  If you are willing to provide childcare for this time, Mz Anne will be thrilled to help you obtain the training you would need.
